Fish & Monkeys

We’re excited to introduce Brink Magazine (www.brinklit.com) a new literary magazine featuring high-caliber (but hardly dangerous) short stories and poetry. As Creative Directors of the magazine, Sei-Wook and I collaborated with Editor-in-Chief Charlie Gershman to design the brand and layouts for the web-based quarterly publication. We also built a archiving system to keep all the back issues easily accessible, and there’s a mailing list you can sign up for to receive updates. We’re looking forward to trying different styles, working on a possible print project, and putting together upcoming issues.

As for the content, I will be working with Charlie and editor Cedrick Mendoza-Tolentino to select and edit new submissions on future issues, and we hope to bring you more illustrations, photography, and art pieces as well. Also, be on the look out for writing contests and interviews with authors. Special thanks to my sister Dawn “Mo” Kang for the logo and illustrations.
