Nécessarie, a Climate Neutral-certified and Plastic Neutral skincare brand, outlines their commitment and responsibility to sustainability and the environment on their website and social media.

Nécessaire's value propositions

Companies like Nécessaire know that when they share the same values as their customers, they more easily earn their loyalty. For every purchase made on the site, 1% of the customer’s purchase goes to restoring, protecting, and advocating for wild places and wildlife around the world. 

Nécessaire's Footprint page

On their Footprint page, which replaces a website’s traditional about page, Nécessarie highlights the impact of their products, packaging, and supply-chain on the environment. 

They partnered with TerraCycle to provide their customers with a recycling program for hard to recycle beauty products. Their recycling program has it’s own page to help walk customers through the process of sending products back, including how to clean the products and how to receive a pre-paid shipping label. 

They also have a partnership with How2Recycle, a standardized labeling system that communicates recycling instructions to the public, which ensures that their recycling instructions on their packaging are consistent and transparent.
