Last weekend, we finally got around to turning my bedroom into a complete office. Sei-Wook, who had masterfully planned out the layout on Google Sketchup a couple of months ago, made sure that the plan was well executed.
After renting an Enterprise cargo van, we drove around to Home Depot and IKEA to buy the necessary furniture. We also dropped in at the the Design Within Reach Annex in Secaucus, where we luckily found the Zero Table on sale for $300 (orig. $850). After a long night of cleaning and assembling, we were left with an open and inviting space to do our work. Continue to see more photos of our office transformation.
Some more Sketchup action.
IKEA lacked a food tray, so I made use of their shopping basket to transport food.
The Design Within Reach Annex was a treasure find. We immediately secured the Zero Table (right) and two Kyoto chairs.
The lovely Kyoto chair (left) and the straight view from the doorway.
Some books and some magazines.
100% office.
