Reimagining the Digital Presence
We worked with Austin Eastciders, a cider company based in Austin, Texas, to reimagine their digital presence on Shopify and better represent their quirky brand personality online through the development of new content and a digital brand system. As the centerpoint of the Eastciders brand, we designed a visual navigation system that showcases the unique cider flavors.
A Custom-Built Product Finder
While the cider isn’t available to purchase on the website, we created a robust Cider Finder so consumers can easily find where Eastciders is sold near them. Not only can they search nearby restaurants, bars, and store, but also narrow their search down to the way they like it served (on draft, in a can, and by 6 or 12-pack).
A Flexible Design System
We created a flexible template to highlight each cider flavor’s individual personality from themed colors, taglines, and sweet-meter levels to custom photography, cocktail recipes, and related Eastciders Merch products.
An Unexpected Journey
In addition to showcasing their ciders and where you can buy them, we created a comprehensive About page that tells the unexpected story behind Eastciders, from the origins of the brand to the quality and care that goes into crafting the best cider possible.
Creating a Store for Eastciders Gear
Eastciders fans can purchase their favorite cider gear on the online Merch store, with products ranging from neon bar signs to koozies and coolers.
Along with crafting the digital experience for Eastciders, we also provided photography direction for product shots, lifestyle imagery, merch items, recipes, process shots, and video content.
Each month, we study user behavior patterns and analytics to understand ways in which we can improve Eastciders’ digital presence. Enhancements range from encouraging users to shop by introducing a suggested products module on individual cider pages to generating concepts for new email marketing campaigns.
