Enhancing Brand Storytelling and a Seamless Retail Integration

Since Milton’s is a retail-first brand, the new website emphasizes product education, brand storytelling, and customer data acquisition, while also driving customers to purchase via third-party retail locations. With Milton’s 25-year history, we focused on engaging storytelling that makes it easy for both new and existing fans to learn more about their products.

This pivotal time in Milton’s brand trajectory gave Barrel the opportunity to streamline and revamp the website design to create a best-in-class consumer experience with engaging content for both existing and new fans to learn more about Milton’s compelling product offerings. As a brand with better-for-you products made from premium ingredients, it was imperative to showcase Milton’s products’ unique points of differentiation, while leveraging updated creative to reinforce taste appeal.

Connecting Customers to Products Near Them

To make the experience of finding Milton's in-store or online as seamless as possible, Barrel integrated Destini's omnichannel store locator, which allows users to find online and physical retailers available in their area and check availability on specific Milton’s products. This integration includes a product-specific store locator call out directly on the product detail page to help drive traffic and provide the exact information consumers are looking for, rather than having to navigate back to the Store Locator page.

Boosting Post-Purchase Engagement Through Recipes

In addition to product education and availability, product recipes are a popular destination for people visiting the Milton’s website, so we migrated existing recipes to Shopify and designed a new experience for users to engage with them through clear ingredient lists, instructions, and visual content. These pages are also SEO optimized to drive Google traffic directly to Milton’s website.
