Launching BraveFace to Redefine Stress Support

BraveFace, a consumer wellness brand from Douglas Pharmaceuticals, is changing how people approach stress. With plant-based, science-backed supplements, BraveFace helps their customers tackle daily challenges with confidence. Barrel partnered with BraveFace to launch its first ecommerce site, building a digital foundation to educate, build trust, and drive conversion.

The Challenge

As BraveFace expanded into the competitive stress and mood supplement category, the brand needed a digital experience that built trust, educated consumers, and reflected its empathetic, science-meets-self-care identity.

Our shared goal was to create a site that felt calm, confident, and intuitive, guiding customers from education to purchase with clarity and trust.

Barrel worked closely with BraveFace to translate its core values of honesty, ambition, courage, empowerment, and togetherness into a cohesive online experience. We positioned the brand as both credible and lifestyle-driven, using science-backed yet approachable storytelling to empower users.

We designed the site around BraveFace’s core audience of high-achieving millennials balancing busy lives, creating a seamless shopping experience that highlights the brand’s lifestyle-driven identity and makes natural anxiety support feel aspirational and trustworthy.

Barrel built a conversion-focused Shopify Plus site integrated with social, influencer, and paid media channels to drive discovery and engagement. Bundles, cross-sells, and a simplified checkout reduce friction and encourage repeat purchases.

Product pages feature custom graphics that highlight each supplement’s benefits, reinforce credibility with testimonials, and increase AOV through strategic bundle upsells.

To reinforce BraveFace’s brand purpose, we developed educational content that helps customers understand stress and how to address it, deepening connection and reinforcing their mission to support overall mental wellness.

As part of the project, we created custom CGI visuals to spotlight ingredients and formulations, bringing the brand’s modern, science-meets-self-care aesthetic to life.

We designed BraveFace’s core ecommerce email automations to extend their brand beyond the site. These emails reinforced their mission, recovered abandoned carts, and drove retention through replenishment flows.

BraveFace’s launch introduced a modern, empathetic voice to the wellness space and established a strong foundation for growth.

The new Shopify site positions the brand to expand beyond stress support into broader wellness while scaling globally with key systems for fulfillment, CRM, and analytics.
