Driving Brand Affinity and Product Discovery for an Expanding Oral Care Brand

Cocofloss set out to make flossing joyful through premium materials, playful design, and dentist-founded credibility. To support their next phase of growth, they partnered with Barrel to refresh their digital experience and strengthen first-impression performance across their primary e-commerce channel.

The Challenge

Cocofloss needed a site that matched the quality and personality of their products: joyful, premium, and educational without feeling cluttered. They also needed clearer product storytelling, a smoother shopping path, and a flexible UX system to support future product expansion.

Through targeted design enhancements and strategic content creation, Barrel helped Cocofloss turn their website into a conversion-driven, educational hub that reinforces brand loyalty and attracts new customers.

To enhance engagement and drive conversions, Barrel reimagined the homepage to clearly communicate Cocofloss’s product offerings, elevate the founder’s story, and leverage educational content through the blog to strengthen consumer trust and brand authority.

As part of the optimization project, we redesigned the navigation to support their expanding product line, including a new merchandise collection, enhance product discovery, and guide customers to the site’s educational content.

We created an interactive bundle builder to boost AOV, enable customization, and encourage cross-category product discovery.

We reimagined Cocofloss' brand story through an immersive about page that highlights the impact of poor dental care and how flossing can improve overall health. The page guides users through the content using the floss as a visual tool, keeping them engaged from start to finish.

To illustrate the product's effectiveness we built a custom plaque slider that shows the before and after using Cocofloss.

We optimized the blog and featured content across the site to boost engagement, educate customers on the importance of dental health for overall wellness, and create contextual shopping moments that drive traffic.

We developed custom photo and video content showcasing products and flavors, which were used across the website, email, social, and advertising to strengthen the brand experience.

As part of the digital transformation project, we developed new brand elements for Cocofloss, including custom illustrations that tell the brand story, highlight key value propositions, and showcase the founders.

The Challenge

The refreshed experience better reflects Cocofloss’s joyful, design-forward identity while strengthening trust and conversion. With a cleaner UX and scalable structure, the brand is now positioned to grow into a broader oral-care ecosystem and continue delighting both new and loyal customers.
