The name is a reference from former U.S. President Rutherford B. Hayes's journal, describing Austin as an "inconsiderable village" of people having "fierce whiskers". With a chip on their shoulder and whiskey to promote, Fierce Whiskers came to Barrel to create a Shopify website to not only promote the brand but to drive users to booking tours to visit the distillery.
The Barrel team also executed various illustrations and brand assets in order to help visualize the brand story and grow Fierce Whiskers digital presence.
