Opportunity

As Cholula continued to grow as one of the leading hot sauce brands in the U.S., the team needed a digital experience that could celebrate its heritage while supporting modern product discovery and recipe inspiration. The platform needed to highlight flavor, versatility, and the many ways Cholula can be used across everyday meals.  

Barrel partnered with Cholula to transform their digital identity, spotlighting their rich heritage and bold flavor through storytelling that brings their passion for food, family, and community to life online.

The new Cholula site experience blends storytelling with conversion, connecting flavor to heritage while driving engagement through recipes and how-to videos that inspire purchases.

Recipes featuring Cholula products make it easy for users to discover new uses and quickly add items to their cart.

User-generated video reviews give long-time Cholula fans a voice and help new customers build confidence in their purchase.

To ensure the new designs resonated with Cholula's loyal community, we leveraged Helio to A/B test concepts and gather real-time feedback before implementing the design system.

To unify McCormick’s family of brands under one digital hub, we built a single Shopify ecosystem with distinct storefronts and a shared cart for seamless cross-brand shopping. Learn More About The Project
