Opportunity

With a new product line and brand direction, BHU needed a digital experience that clearly communicated its evolution to busy, wellness-minded consumers. They also wanted a partner who could take ownership across strategy, creative, and execution, reducing the load on their internal team.

We reimagined the website to highlight BHU’s new formulation, nutrition benefits, and brand promise. Guided by our SEO and GEO audit, the experience centers on taste, quality ingredients, and everyday convenience.

Product pages were reimagined to serve as true education hubs, clearly breaking down protein, fiber, sugar, sourcing, and functional benefits. Ingredient callouts, UGC, testimonials, and claim verification help shoppers quickly understand what makes BHU different and feel confident in their choice.

We strengthened subscription flows to position BHU as an everyday staple and launched a custom build-a-box experience that drives trial and increases average order value.

To support retail velocity, we introduced a store locator and clarified in-store availability, ensuring the site works as a true omnichannel driver.

In collaboration with Wonderkind Studio, we helped shape the art direction for BHU’s refreshed photography, bringing their clean, nourishing positioning to life.

We supported BHU’s Amazon strategy with an audit and content recommendations, guiding the creation of more than 80 storefront and PDP assets.

We also redesigned key lifecycle email flows to reinforce the reformulation story, encourage trial, and support long-term retention.

Impact

BHU now has a digital ecosystem that reflects its upgraded products and supports growth across DTC, retail, and Amazon. With Barrel leading strategy, creative, and execution, the BHU team gained a trusted partner who could move fast, own the details, and help build a scalable foundation for what’s next.
