Enhancing the Customer Experience for Sakara

Barrel worked with Sakara to improve the user experience for key components of the Sakara website experience. Founded in 2012, Sakara's mission is to help transform people’s lives through the power of food. Sakara specializes in fresh, organic, and perfectly-portioned meals delivered weekly to your door. The company delivers to 48 states across the country and is a favorite among celebrities like Chrissy Teigen and Lily Aldridge.

Since 2017, Barrel has partnered with Sakara to design a curated and user-friendly interface to highlight Sakara's meal programs and content. Our latest engagement focused on creating a new home for current subscribers, improving the process of changing upcoming deliveries and surfacing new programs, products, and content.

We also redesigned the Shop pages, where customers can purchase one-off products to supplement their nutrition programs. The new product pages surface important details around each of the carefully crafted products and provide the space for editorial content for each product.

In addition, we redesigned the S Life Mag, Sakara's editorial hub with health, lifestyle, recipe, and interview content. The new designs elevate the overall experience, improving readability and integrates product content in the reading experience.

For the past 12 years, Barrel has collaborated with numerous brands to think strategically about their digital experiences.
