The holidays are one of McCormick’s most important moments, and as part of our ongoing partnership, Barrel created a unified, joyful seasonal identity that connects ecommerce, gifting, packaging, and media. The goal was to give every touchpoint the same cohesive look and strengthen the Shop’s role as McCormick’s digital flagship.
After auditing the McCormick Shop to pinpoint the highest-impact seasonal moments, we built a comprehensive Holiday Creative Guide that defines imagery, color, type, and storytelling. With one cohesive system, every channel now shares the same unmistakably McCormick holiday experience.
With the creative guide as our foundation, we updated the McCormick Shop to spotlight seasonal products, bundles, and gifting moments. A refreshed homepage anchored the experience with festive modules and curated recipes, transforming the Shop into a destination for holiday inspiration, not just transaction.

To complement the on-site experience, we refreshed McCormick’s holiday emails with templates that applied the new festive system across messaging, offers, and gifting prompts, creating a more cohesive and aligned customer journey.

The holiday campaign extended beyond owned channels with a suite of ads built from the same creative foundation. We designed a suite of seasonal media assets that showcased hero products and gifting moments, bringing consistency across paid channels and driving qualified traffic into the updated Shop experience.

This collaboration brings together brand, design, ecommerce, and gifting strategy into one cohesive seasonal experience, helping McCormick deliver holiday magic across every touchpoint.
