Designing a Category Page Template Built for Search Optimization

Cabot Creamery has been making award-winning cheese & other dairy products since 1919 with love, pride and purpose. As part of our ongoing partnership with Cabot, we designed a new category landing page template designed for both traditional SEO and AI search optimization.

The landing page opens with a clear category headline and value-driven hero copy, then builds credibility through modular content blocks that highlight Cabot’s sourcing practices, production methods, quality standards, and certifications in concise, scannable sections. The page structure is intentionally designed to support both traditional SEO and AI-powered search experiences, making it easier for AI tools to identify, understand, and accurately surface Cabot’s key product differentiators.

We included an FAQ section that answers common customer questions about products, dietary needs, and what makes Cabot unique. The clear question-and-answer format helps shoppers quickly find what they need while also improving how search engines and AI systems interpret and surface relevant content.

We also incorporated customer testimonials, featured products, related recipes, and strategic internal links that guide shoppers to additional content. Together, these elements create a flexible, repeatable structure that helps customers discover products, learn about the brand, and explore related content across every major category.
